Holiday queen Coleen: Serial vacationer Mrs Rooney racks up 50,000 miles and £216,000 on 10 trips in a year

When you’re worth £12million and your husband’s sitting on another £37million it takes some effort to spend your money.

Coleen Rooney’s doing her best though, bless her. She’s just beginning her tenth holiday in little more than a year.

In that time she’s managed to cover 48,630 miles and rack up a total bill estimated at £216,000.

For her latest break, the 25 year-old wife of Manchester United striker Wayne has blown £50,000 renting a yacht - plus crew - for a week-long trip around Ibiza.

Her brother Joe McLoughlin and six friends are among the party enjoying the boat’s luxury features, which include a sauna and Jacuzzi.

Days for Mrs Rooney have meant plenty of sunbathing on deck, a glass of chilled rosé in hand. Nights have included jaunts to Ibiza’s Ushuaia Beach Hotel in Playa d’en Bossa and the Café Mambo in San Antonio.

Their trip coincided with the Radio 1 weekender, an annual dance marathon hosted by the world's hottest DJs.

Coleen's friend Amy Wilkinson tweeted a picture of them from the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, saying: 'The girlys... @ColeenRoo @xclaireroox @sophiamolloyx ... Radio 1 live USH!!! X x x.'

And the mother-of-one appeared to be having a great time, although, judging from the tone of her skin, she may want to go easy on the sunbathing and protect her skin a little more.

Coleen's tan was a very deep shade of brown, verging on red.

Husband Wayne, also 25, used his Twitter account to tell Mrs Rooney how much he was missing his wife and their son, Kai. She replied: ‘Miss you too!! X’, before going back to life on the waves.

The trip marks Mrs Rooney’s fourth foreign break in just nine week.

In early June, she, Wayne, 21 month-old Kai and other members of their family jetted to their £5million holiday home in Barbados for a two-week sojourn.

Following their return, the couple used a helicopter to fly to Glastonbury, ‘glamping’ for the duration of the three-day music festival.

The couple spent £15,000 on the weekend and stayed in a luxury six-person Winnebago at a nearby VIP campsite.

The following week, they were off again - this time with Kai - heading to St Tropez for a five-day break on a luxury yacht.

For that jaunt, they were joined by Mrs Rooney’s younger brothers Anthony and Joe McLoughlin as well as her best friend Amy Louise Wilkinson.

Later that month - and just three weeks ago - while her husband was on a pre-season tour of the U.S. with Manchester United team-mates, Mrs Rooney took Kai to Dubai, where they stayed at a top hotel.

Other breaks Mrs Rooney has enjoyed in the last year include a ‘girls-only’ trip to Ibiza last August and two other visits to the family’s Caribbean holiday home.

Mrs Rooney has amassed a sizeable fortune of her own with various commercial deals.

These include her fashion and modelling contract with Littlewoods - where she is labelled the style ambassador - as well as her own perfume and make-up range.

The Rooney marriage hit a rocky patch last year when two prostitutes claimed they had flings with Wayne while she was pregnant with Kai in 2009.

Since then, however, they have managed to rebuild their relationship with romantic trips to Prague and Dubai.

While his wife has been in Ibiza, Wayne has been preparing for the start of the Premier League season this weekend.

On Sunday he helped United beat Manchester City 3-2 in the Community Shield at Wembley.

If it is any consolation for Rooney, his wife and her friends - whose yacht, of course, had satellite TV - did watch the match on television.
