Jessica Biel has a new musically talented man in her life, if it only be for this Revlon commercial. The actress stars in the TV ad for one of the brand’s mascaras and is joined in the commercial by N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams. The spot was shot by Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky and is filmed entirely in black and white.
The actress is applying her Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara in preparation for what looks to be a formal affair as a suited up Pharrell makes his way to her bedroom.
This all takes place while the hip-hop star’s song “You Got Me” plays. “It was like shooting a movie. It was so creative,” the actress told The Hollywood Reporter of the commercial.
As for if she’s keeping tabs on her ex Justin Timberlake, she played a little coy when asked if she’d seen his new Saturday Night Live digital short. “I was at a wedding,” she answered. “I’ll have to Google it.”
While Jessica dodged questions about her ex, Justin candidly chatted about the actress to Vanity Fair Magazine. He said of Jessica:
“In my 30 years, she is the most special person, O.K.? … I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me—for instance, her.”
