She has always appeared to be every bit the doting step-mother.
But Jessie James is claiming that ex-wife Sandra Bullock has completely cut her step-daughter Sunny out of her life.
The bad boy bike builder, who Sandra, 45, divorced last year following a very public cheating scandal, has made the sweeping revelations on a pre-taped episode of ABC's Nightline which will air tomorrow.

'I don't want to try to second guess what she thinks or something like that,' said James during the TV interview.
'I mean, I know why I moved.'
James moved from Southern California to Austin, Texas in the wake of the divorce in the hope of keeping the children together.

Sandra had even fought for custody of Sunny alongside Jessie to keep her away from Janine.
'I moved initially so the kids could keep a relationship and I could kind of keep a relationship with Louie, and then whatever else happened besides that.'
However despite his intentions to see the baby boy that he and Sandra adopted together just months before their separation, he claims that never happened.
'There’s been no contact at all for several months,' he said.
Just yesterday the West Coast Choppers owner admitted he missed the 15-month old little boy.
'He is so sweet and I miss him,' the 42-year-old reality show star tells People magazine in a candid new interview.
They initially adopted baby Louis together, months before their very public split.
The former couple kept quiet about their adoption of Louis back in January 2010, until after Bullock won the Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side.
'Talking about Louis almost seemed too intimate,' says James of the decision to keep news of the baby quiet.
Bullock continued with the adoption of Louis as a single parent.
James is promoting his new autobiography, American Outlaw, out tomorrow, in which he sheds light his failed marriage to Bullock - their divorce was finalised last June.
'Everything got ripped to shreds,' James says. 'I was at my breaking point.'
James ended up checking into a rehabilitation unit in Arizona after it was revealed he had indulged in several extra marital affairs.
The former West Coast Choppers boss takes 'full accountability' for his infidelity, but claims to be 'moving forward,' with his life.
'I'm thinking clearly and becoming a better person... I have started life over,' he says.

He also hints about a troubled and abusive childhood, along with feelings of low self esteem.
'I always felt out of place my whole life,' he says. 'I never felt successful, never felt I deserved anything.
James, who is now engaged to LA Ink star Kat Von D, has recently relocated to Texas.
'I've made my world pretty small,' he says. 'Now I can focus on what's important: making sure [my] kids get good grades and are happy and healthy.
