Victoria's secret Angel Kate Upton denies she had balcony kiss with Kanye West - but we bet he wishes he had...

It's been the talk of Cannes all week that 18-year-old lingerie model Kate Upton was Kanye West's new girl after the star was seen kissing a curvy blonde on a balcony in the French city - but the Victoria's Secret Angel is denying it's her.

The budding supermodel not only shot down claims she was dating the 33-year-old rapper, but says she wasn't even in Europe at the time - and was instead working in the U.S.

Writing on her Twitter last night, she insisted: 'Hey I said I wasnt in Cannes come on that girl doesn't even look like me... I'm not with kanye, I'm not dating kanye.'

There's now speculation than in fact the Golddigger star was locking lips with a French actress and model called Virginie Maury.

Meanwhile, the beauty has been showing she's got the kind of killer curves that would certainly wow Kanye should they ever meet in her latest photo shoot.

The beauty, who also models for Guess, has been debuting the latest line of Beach Bunny Swimwear called Beach Bunny Bride.

Kate, who was raised in Melbourne, Florida, caused a sensation when she appeared in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, for which she was named 'Rookie Of the Year'.

She has also proved popular on YouTube, where a video of Kate dancing at a Dodgers game in Los Angeles to Teach Me How to Dougie by Cali Swag District has been viewed more than 377,000 times.

When not modelling Kate is a student at Indiana University, where she majors in horn performance, and she's also a keen Western-style horse rider.

She turns 19 on June 10.

Kanye meanwhile was seen earlier this week chilling in Cannes with his new friend Boris Becker.

The tennis legend and his wife Sharlely had rented a luxury yacht moored on the French Riviera during the Film Festival, and played host to Kanye and a party of other friends.
