She might be one star who doesn’t need any help looking slim, but LeAnn Rimes still decided to exaggerate her tiny pins with huge heels and micro shorts yesterday.

The country singer was shopping on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, in the baby blue hotpants and six-inch heels while out with a girlfriend.

But the miss-matched outfit of evening shoes and casual day attire wasn’t giving her any credibility in the style status department.

LeAnn was no doubt turning every male head on the street though, as she exposed her endless pins.

And before meeting up with her friend, LeAnn tweeted: ‘Heading out w/ my gorgeous red head GF!! Another pretty day!

The 28-year-old music star has been keen to show off her petite figure recently though and was spotted prancing around Malibu beach in a red two piece last weekend.

She was accompanied by her husband Eddie Cibrian, 38, for the Fourth of July weekend celebrations in the sun.

But the How Do I Live singer’s slender frame has sparked criticism and was described as ‘scary skinny’ by on fan on Twitter in May.

The Grammy award winner defended her weight and wrote on Twitter: ‘Those are called abs not bones love.’

She added: ‘Thx but this is my body and I can promise you I’m a healthy girl. I’m just lean. Thx for your concern but no need to be.’

And she continued to justify her figure by added: ‘Dear lord! I do not work out too much nor do I starve myself. I’m so over this and moving on.’

Meanwhile, her personal trainer Michael Jackson has also revealed that the star is upset by the rumours that she is suffering from an eating disorder

Jackson told Fox 411 that the criticism ‘bothers’ Rimes and has decided to let fans see her daily routine via video so they can see that she is healthy despite being very slim.

He said: ‘I know it really bothers her. A lot of people see pictures of LeAnn and assume certain things.

‘But we’re in the process of putting a video together that she’ll post to her blog so that people will see what it is that we’re doing to get her in shape.

‘It’ll probably go live sometime next month – we haven’t set an exact date. I know she’s really anxious to show people – excuse my French – that she takes her s*** seriously.’
